In veterinary school, Dr. Sinclair did not plan to specialize in anesthesiology. She was passionate about veterinary medicine, but her goals were private large animal practice. After an internship in large animals, she worked in mixed animal practice. After a year and a half, she chose to come back to perform a residency in anesthesiology. This turned out to be a great decision. Dr. SInclair loves her current role and daily activities.
Dr. Sinclair instructs second, third year, and final year DVM students, interns, and advises and instructs residents/graduate students as well as other specialty residents in anesthesia at OVC. She is primarily responsible for the third-year anesthesia curriculum and instruction collaborating with the humane society spay neuter caseload. Her research is based on clinical anesthesia projects advancing sedative and induction protocols that apply to private practice.
