Dr. Stephen Waisglass is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (DACVD). He is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) and obtained a Certificate in Small Animal Dermatology from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the UK. He subsequently did his ACVD dermatology residency at the OVC. Dr Waisglass and sees dermatology referral patients at his two referral practices in the Greater Toronto Area.
Dr. Waisglass is Adjunct Professor at the OVC and teaches the dermatology course to the vet students there. He was an educator for OVC’s 2 dermatology residents (now board certified) as well as the mentor for Karri Beck, his own ACVD resident, who went on to quickly pass her dermatology boards and partner with him at his practices. Dr Waisglass lectures internationally in the field, with speaking engagements in Europe, Africa and from coast to coast in North America. He has published numerous journal and textbook articles on various topics in his field.
When not working, he enjoys skiing, tennis, travelling and spending time with his wife, children and their Golden Retriever, "Penny", who is a certified St John’s ambulance courtroom therapy dog.
