Junior Events Coordinator

Spots: 1 

Application Due Date: October 2nd, 2022 at 11:59pm EDT 

Description: Your responsibility will be to assist the Senior Events Coordinators in organizing all events. This will include communicating with the Central Student Association, organizing food orders and contacting external organizations for events. You are required to attend weekly executive meetings and you will be involved in the detailed planning of most events. This position requires you to commit for 2 years, where you will assume the position of Senior Events Coordinator in the following year (unless you decide to run for an alternate position).

Co-Website and Marketing Officer

Description: Your responsibility is to manage the social media handles of the club, updating it weekly with upcoming events. You are required to design new posts, templates and promotional materials for the club. You are to collaborate with various executives to create content. This is a high commitment role, and you will be required to attend the weekly executive meetings.

Junior Editor for the Omnis Animalis

Spots: 1 

Application Due Date: October 2nd, 2022 at 11:59pm EDT 

Description: You will be required to assist the Senior Omnis editor in the publication of blog entries in the Omnis Animalis. This includes reaching out to interested professionals and students, as well as editing the articles. This is a low commitment role. You will be attending the weekly executive meetings. This position has a 2-year long term, you shall assume the position of Senior Omnis Editor in the following year (unless you decide to run for a higher-level position).

Junior Treasurer

Description: You will assist the Senior Treasurer in maintaining finances for the club, including membership fees, fundraising events and other promotional expenses. You will help in keeping monthly records and presenting semesterly financial reports, to ensure that the club stays within the budget. This position has a 2-year long term, you shall assume the position of Senior Treasurer in the following year (unless you decide to run for a higher-level position).

Executive Assistant

Spots: 3

Description: Your responsibilities will be to perform various tasks depending on the needs of the club, such as:  

  • Observing and training to take on future executive positions 
  • Supporting the club in virtual event planning and the use of Microsoft Teams, or with setup for in-person events  
  • Assisting with merch and event ticket sales 
  • Class announcements for our events for in-person courses 
  • Taking pictures at events 
  • Sending emails to external universities and organizations   
  • Collecting membership fees and more! 
  • Attend weekly executive meetings

*New Position This Year* Outreach Officers 

Spots: 2 

Application Due Date: October 2nd, 2022 at 11:59pm EDT 

Description: It is your responsibility to be in communication with various clubs on campus, as well as pre-vet clubs from other universities to collaborate and promote FVC events. Both outreach officers will together organize 2 creative events of their choosing in each semester. You will assist the communications officers with member engagement on social media, including creating interactive video content. You will be making classroom announcements and putting up posters on campus. You will attend one executive meeting each month and stay up to date with other executive meetings.

PROGRAM REPRESENTATIVES 

Spots: Program Dependent (Up to 5) 

Application Due Date: October 2nd, 2022 at 11:59pm EDT 

Description: As a program representative, you would not be an official FVC executive member, but you would be affiliated with the executive. This is a low commitment position for someone looking for a bit more leadership in the club. You will collect and report feedback from people within your program about FVC events, and any questions about the OVC application. You are required to remain up to date with the executive weekly meetings. Students in your program may reach out to you via email with questions about FVC or OVC. You will host monthly drop-in sessions for students who have questions.
