You can become a member at any point throughout the academic year by e-transferring the $10 membership fee to [email protected]. This will subscribe you to our ListServ, give you priority access to events, and the opportunity to run for executive positions. Memberships must be renewed for every school year; the fee covers the entire year. You do not need to be a University student to join; high school students and community members are also encouraged to join the club membership!

Being a member of any club is a worthwhile experience at the University of Guelph – it allows you to meet new people who share similar interests or goals.
Membership in the Future Vets Club costs $10 annually and is used to pay for programming and events that benefit our members! Membership gains you access to our ListServ where we share our events and other opportunities. As well, we offer discounts to our members for some of the events that charge admission. Over the course of the year, attending two or more events gets you your money back and it saves you some down the road. Members also gain advanced sign up access to events with limited capacity. You can register as a member by e-transfering the membership fee at any time during the academic semester, however all membership fees must be renewed annually as the membership list is cleared every Fall. e-Tranfers can be sent to [email protected] with fvcfvc as the password, and your email and name in the message. The listserv is our newsletter. It is our way of informing members about FVC events, oppourtunities, and other important updates for pre-veterinary students.
Please note if you joined the FVC via GryphLife without paying the membership fee you are not a member and will not receive listserv updates. At the start of each school year, we will be clearing the listserv of all email addresses and starting fresh. There will be a final ‘notification’ email letting you know that the list has been cleared. To be added for another year, simply purchase a membership. To remove yourself from the listserv simply send an e-mail message to [email protected] with the subject line UNSUBSCRIBE. |
