APVMA Symposium 2021
March 12, 2021
Hey FVC!
If you're a member and haven't checked your email yet, read below!
The American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association (APVMA) Symposium is an annual multi-day event that brings together prospective veterinary students from all over the US and Canada. Due to COVID-19, the National Symposium this year will be held virtually and hosted by the pre-vet club at Michigan State University. It's a great opportunity for pre-vet students to learn more about the field of veterinary medicine through workshops and labs, and network with future colleagues. Lectures will be given by individuals in the field of veterinary medicine that have made significant contributions to the profession.
The symposium also provides participants with exposure to representatives from different veterinary schools. There will be sessions about the veterinary application process, preparing for veterinary school and much more!
Normally attending the APVMA Symposium would require you to pay a fee, however this year FVC will be subsidizing the cost for FVC attendees. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this and join us in attending!
