​MBS Course-Based Position

MBS Course-Based Position - Exploring the Carbohydrate Landscape in Cat Foods: From Labels to Reality

​Position: 1-year Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) Coursework-based graduate position

Where: Under the supervision of Dr. Adronie Verbrugghe from the Department of Clinical Studies at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC)

When: Application review begins immediately, Position starting September 2024

Closing date: Until the position is filled

Description: The major project investigates commercial cat foods' dietary carbohydrate content and types.

Candidate Skills:
 Based on a combination of academic criteria, relevant interest and experience, referees' evaluations, and assessment of the candidate's future fials and motivation. An undergraduate background with course and research experience in food science, nutrition, animal physiology, and statistics is preferred. Motivated and ambitious, with an interest in pet nutrition is ideal. Well-developed interpersonal skills and is able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
