​Oakville Animal Clinic Veterinary Assistant

Oakville Animal Clinic is dedicated to providing excellent quality care and compassion, and high standards of medicine and surgery. We are looking for a positive individual who is passionate about animals and works well with people. This individual will be working directly with staff members as well as pet owners.

Position will be September 2023 onwards.

Responsibilities and Duties
The individual will be cross-trained on all aspects of a veterinary hospital, including front desk/customer care, surgical prep, treatments, patient handling and restraint, grooming, and hospital sanitation.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous animal experience an asset but not required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must have a passion for animals.
  • Must work well with people.
