We hope you had a wonderful summer, but we are excited to have you back on campus!!

I am pleased to inform you all that the OVC Health Sciences Centre is currently looking for students who would like to work part-time as a Surgery Support Student. Positions will be available to support the Large and Companion Animal Surgery Departments. Preference will be given to those who have experience with either/or companion or large animals in a clinical setting, but all are welcome to apply. Work will consist of assisting surgeons and staff with surgery set-up and clean up, surgical preps, and providing general support during surgery. Most shifts take place in the evenings, overnight, and on weekends. Training will be provided; however, you will need to have a rabies vaccination and titre. Those interested in veterinary medicine and/or large and companion animal care are encouraged to apply and will get a chance to work directly with the Large and Companion Animal Medical Team.
