Position title: Poultry Farm Labourer

Company description: LEL Farms Ltd., with duties at Guelph Poultry Veterinary Services

Location: Guelph, ON. (Must be able to get to work at 6649 Forestell Rd. Guelph, no public transportation)

Duties:  Care of broiler chickens and turkeys and their facilities, operation of tractors and equipment in daily functions, all aspects of property maintenance, buildings and lawns, record keeping and data analysis for decision making, identify and troubleshoot problems, barn setup and clean out, shipping (a couple evenings over the summer). This position provides an opportunity to work with a poultry veterinarian, both on-farm, and at the associated poultry practice. These tasks include involvement in research trials, and functions at the clinic, depending on interest. 

Timeframe and schedule: immediately-September. Full-time hours, schedule can be flexible to suit summer plans. Normal daytime hours, minimal evenings. Saturday mornings shared.
